The transformer should have a minimum distance 0.5 m from other electrical appliances Transformers must be located in such a way that sufficient ventilation – heat dissipation – is provided; if located in a closed room, sufficient ventilation (ventilation holes) must be provided Power of the transformer must be higher than the input power of the lights, recommended reserve 20%, for continuous lighting the reserve should be increased to 30%
