Countersunks are hammered ( and an auxiliary tool) against each other.
The parts have dovetails, which are cut longitudinally into the groove, the joint is strong enough even without the use of glue.
The next step of assembly is to push them together until the joint clicks.
It is used to assembly, e.g. paneling, cornice, etc.
The joint can be disassembled!
